While I was writing this week’s newsletter, I realized that handwriting’s going the way of the dinosaurs, and we’re losing more than just squiggly letters! Sure, typing and swiping are faster, but handwriting packs a punch when it comes to brainpower, learning, and even creativity. Studies show that writing by hand helps us process information better, improves memory, and makes our notes way more effective than hammering away on a keyboard.

Science also says putting pen to paper connects us more deeply with our thoughts and the physical world. It’s slower, yes, but slower means more thoughtful. Writing by hand forces us to actually think about what we’re jotting down, ins…
