After a long break, I suddenly felt like making a podcast again. I pulled my old mic setup off the shelf — but there was a problem. The joint and cap that let the boom arm bend and move were nowhere to be found.

I was a bit bummed out, but after some deeper digging on Google, I came across an amazing human who had gone through the exact same issue. He found a compatible bolt at Lowe’s, modeled the missing part, printed it with a 3D printer, and shared everything for free.

I’m endlessly grateful for people like this. The world needs more of them Anyway... Welcome to the new issue of Beyond Euclid.
