Beyond Euclid #198
Welcome to Beyond Euclid #198, the newsletter for the best mathematics and science stuff of the week. I am Ali, and I curate cool math and science stuff every week to help you have a better week.
📰 With the arrival of November, we’ve stepped into the cold and quiet part of the year. The days are getting shorter, the mornings are darker, and it feels harder to get out of bed. The sunlight looks tired, the air smells like winter, and the wind suddenly feels sharper. After months of working nonstop, everyone seems a little worn out — counting the weeks until the next break.
Outside, everything feels calm and peaceful, but most of us are stuck indoors, sitting under artificial lights while the world outside slowly turns gray. It’s the time of year when we drink too much coffee, wrap ourselves in blankets, and dream of warm days that still feel far away.
Anyway, enough about my winter complaints — let’s move on to this week’s newsletter.
