Welcome to Beyond Euclid #145, the newsletter for the best mathematics and science stuff of the week. I am Ali, and I curate cool math and science stuff every week to help you have a better week.
I’m a retired disabled Vietnam veteran. I first read the I Ching during my second tour in Vietnam. I am looking for someone to interview me on zoom, which we would record and also recommend my book. I feel that you were one of the best person to do that because it would really help a struggling veteran! During the month of August, I put together a book that collects articles I’ve written over the last 35+ years, includes both the fields of archaeological and mathematical Discovery.
I am not a professional mathematician, but am familiar with matrices, the I Ching, and platonic solids. I browsed through your book and found it interesting! Would love to see the interview.
the knots site is an excellent find, i definitely enjoyed reading the newsletter
